Has anyone seen Mrs. Davis? It was a series on Peacock streaming about a nun, Sister Simone, who is on a mission to destroy a pervasive AI (artificial intelligence) named "Mrs. Davis" that is playing too large a role in people's lives, even though ostensibly helping them. In the episodes Sister Simone has frequent encounters with Jesus in his "restaurant" in her mind. Bishop Barron mentioned at one point that it was one of his favorite shows of this year. There are a total of 8 episodes with a fitting conclusion. It is classified as "science fiction comedy drama". Do not expect much theological accuracy from this show, however there are some genuine touching moments of faith as the commitment to the religious life is portrayed respectfully, if not altogether accurately. There is a lot of pseudo-science stuff about the Holy Grail, and some definite theological problems with the relationship between Jesus and his mother Mary. But if you can look past these errors, I think there is some wholesome good entertainment in this series.
