Vocations

In November of 1995, the National Conference of Catholic Bishops (NCCB) unanimously approved a three year national strategy for vocations which they titled, "Future Full of Hope." The plan became effective January 1, 1996.

One of the goals of the strategy plan is to "encourage parish communities and their individual members to accept responsibility for encouraging and calling forth vocations" to the priesthood and religious life.

We at Good Shepherd, not only want to take on this responsibility, but also promote all activities toward that goal, especially those suggested by our Diocesan vocation office.
