Prayer for Peace in the U.S. and the World
Remembering the victims, families, and friends touched by
the tragedy of September 11th, 2001
God, Beloved, Almighty I AM. We love you God, as we are Your Children. Please fill
and surround the people in the United States and the whole world with your love,
forgiveness, peace, patience, health, and freedom from fear.
O Lord, calm our hearts, minds, and souls knowing that You, Almighty Father will bring
goodness from all the bad things that happen, every day, but especially on September 11,
2001.
Please heal the wounded spiritually, physically, and mentally. Oh, Merciful God
please enlighten us with the wisdom forgiveness, and patience of your Holy Spirit to guide
us through these troubled times. Please give us the strength to bury our dead and to
console the grieving loved ones who are left behind. We ask all these things,
through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord. Amen.
