Organizations

Altar Society:
The purpose of the Altar Society is to clean the church weekly and to decorate for the feasts of Christmas and Easter. More Volunteers are always welcomed and needed.
Athletic Association:
This is an organization aimed at providing an environment for our parishioners, young and old to participate in a variety of sports. [St. Andrew]
Annual Catholic Appeal:
This annual, Spring drive throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis benefits many Archdiocesan programs. Your support is important in helping us reach our goal.
Endowment Committee:
Oversees the Parish Endowment Fund with the Archdiocese.
Finance Committee:
A group of professional parishioners appointed by the pastor to assist/advise on financial concerns.
Holy Name Society:
The prime goals of this society are devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus and the personal sanctification of the members. Members gather in a body for the 8:00 Mass on the second Sunday of the month, and have several programs during the year.
Legion of Mary:
This is a program of spiritual development for the members shown by honoring Mary, praying the rosary, making contact with new parishioners, updating the parish census, promoting consecrating homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and many other good works.
Liturgy Committee:
The committee's duties include planning, executing and evaluating the liturgical worship of the parish. Monthly meetings are held from September through June.
Marthas:
A group of ladies from the parish prepare and serve lunch to the families of deceased parishioners.
Parish Council:
The Council, with the pastor, meets on the 4th Monday of the month during the year except during the Summer months. The members help to set policies and to establish goals for the parish.
Pro-Life Committee:
The goals of this group are to work for an end to abortion and foster respect for all human life. The group focuses on prayer and the education of parishioners on prolife issues and concerns.
St. Andrew Parish Picnic:
This annual fund-raiser is a major activity of the parish and school together.
St. Andrew Fish Fry:
Fish Frys are held on the first Friday of each month (August through May), Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during the Lenten season from 4:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. in the cafeteria. Volunteer Workers are always needed as well as your support of the fish frys.
St. Andrew Quilters:
This dedicated group of quilters was organized in 1967 and continues to meet each Thursday at the home of Mary Budde. Proceeds from the monthly raffle benefit the needs of the parish.
St. Vincent de Paul:
A group of men from the parish provide vital assistance to those requesting help within the parish boundaries. Each year they sponsor the annual Food Drive and the Christmas Sharing Tree. Appeals are also made during the year to help those in need.
