On behalf of the entire parish staff of St. Jerome Church in Troy, Illinois, I welcome you
to our web page!!! St. Jerome parish is a vibrant community of believers who take
seriously the call of the Second Vatican Council to participate fully in the celebration
of the Liturgy. Visitors and regular parishioners often comment on the warmth and welcome
they find at St. Jerome. The focus of our celebrations and our catechetical programs is
FAMILY. We try to do whatever we can to help parents in their duty as the primary
educators of their children. We take seriously the obligation to provide good liturgy for
the faithful with uplifting music, well-trained lectors, servers, Eucharistic ministers
and Ministers of the Word for Children. Catechists are trained to work closely with the
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults as they journey together toward the Easter
sacraments.
If you are interested in parish policies, please refer to the web pages
for such information or call the parish office Monday-Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. and
12:30-3:00 p.m. The office is closed on Fridays.
Again, I welcome you to the web page of St. Jerome Church. I invite you
to worship with us when you are in the area.
God bless you!!!
Steven A. Janoski Pastor
